The theory grade is awarded for solving a case study (situational tasks). For each answer to the case study questions, the teacher asks an additional question or questions related to the topic of the case study.
The practical grade is awarded for describing the morphological changes of 1-2 macroscopic preparations and 2 microscopic preparations. If the teacher has theoretical questions for the student regarding macroscopic and microscopic preparations, the grade for these questions is added to the grade for solving the case study to obtain a total theory grade.
- Students who received "good" or "excellent" grades during the semester may have their assessment for Control Work №1 reduced at the teacher's discretion.
- Students who have not missed any practical classes or lectures and who pass Control Work №1 will receive "work-off" credit on the day of the test.
- Students who have missed any practical classes or lectures but pass will receive "work-off" credit after their outstanding debts are cleared.
If outstanding debts for practical classes and lectures are not cleared by January 18, 2026 (inclusive), passing grades for Control Work №1 will be considered invalid and a "failing" grade will be assigned.
On January 19, 2026, the current and practical ratings for the semester will be posted.
- Students who missed practical classes, lectures, or received unsatisfactory grades for Control Work №1 may make up the absences and take/retake Control Work №1 by January 18, 2026.
