Department for Foreign Citizens (hereinafter referred to as the Department) is a functional unit of Federal State Budget-funded Educational Institution of Higher Education “Professor V.F. Voino-Yasenetsky Krasnoyarsk State Medical University” of the Russian Federation Ministry of Health (hereinafter referred to as the University).

Head of the Department: Elena Viktorovna Taptygina, Candidate of Medical Science, associate professor.

The main purpose of the Department is to ensure accessibility of Russian medical degree for foreign citizens at the University.

The key objectives of the Department are:

1. to provide information and support during the procedures for migration registration of foreign citizens in the Russian Federation at the stage of their admission and through their study in additional general education programs, degree programs and continuing professional education programs provided by the University;
2. to monitor information and formalities related to foreign citizens in the Russian Federation and provide information at the request of the Russian Federation executive bodies;
3. to engage foreign citizens in the University educational programs.

The functions of the Department include: migration registration, passport and visa support of foreign citizens, monitoring of information and formalities related to foreign citizens and provision of information at the requests, engagement of foreign citizens in the University educational programs.

Currently, over 230 students from near-abroad and far-abroad countries (Azerbaijan, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Syria, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Namibia, etc.) are studying at the University.
