The Сenter for Training and Admission of Applicants (hereinafter - CTAA)
is a structural unit of the Prof. V. F. Voino-Yasenetsky Krasnoyarsk State Medical University of the Russia Ministry of Health. The purpose of CTAA) is to organize a high-quality recruitment of students at the Krasnoyarsk State Medical University within the control figures for admitting citizens to study at the expense of budgetary allocations of the Federal Budget and under education agreements concluded when admitting to study at the expense of individuals and (or) legal entities.

The CTAA includes:
- Department for pre-University Training, which carries out educational, organizational, and educative activities.
- For the period of the admission campaign, it forms the University's Admission Committee in the structure of which the sub-Commission "Division of the Admission Committee for Secondary Vocational Education" is created. The admission Committee conducts entrance tests, timely prepares necessary materials, creates subject examination and subject appeal commissions, and appoints their chairmen.

Competencies: Organization and coordination of information and career guidance work among potential applicants; Working with educational organizations, ministries, and other structures with the aim of attracting applicants for training at the Krasnoyarsk State Medical University; Monitoring the education quality of applicants; Implementation of continuing education in the system of "school-university", "college-university" Improving the adaptive ability of educational institutions graduates through the system of pre-university training, a competition of scientific papers and an olympiad in general subjects; Enforcing University Admission Plan; Ensuring compliance with the rights of citizens in the field of education established by the legislation of the Russian Federation, transparency of the Admissions Committee work, and enrollment of applicants with an appropriate level of education, the most capable and prepared to master the educational program of the appropriate level and appropriate orientation; Acceptance for studies in the University educational programs of higher and secondary education in accordance with the Admission Rules; Development of a regulatory framework for admission that governs recruitment within the admission control numbers and under contracts for the provision of paid educational services; Formation of the employees contingent who ensure the work of the Admission Committee during the reception of documents, their training, organization of office work f or the Admission Committee; Organization of information support for the admission campaign; Consulting on issues of pre-university training and admission to KrasSMU; Monitoring the activities of the University’s technical, informational and domestic services, providing organization and conduct of admission to the 1st course; Implementation of multivariate and multi-level programs of pre-university preparation of applicants for admission to KrasSMU.

Areas of activity:

Development of a career guidance plan; Development of reference and informational materials about KrasSMU for career guidance by faculty and students; Preparation of promotional and informational materials about KrasSMU, ensuring timely publication of materials in print media; Carrying out career guidance events at educational institutions of cities and districts of the region, participation in job fairs of educational places and other events organized by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, education centers, administrations of districts of the Krasnoyarsk Territory. Development of cooperative agreements with educational organizations of the city of Krasnoyarsk and the Krasnoyarsk Territory, the republics of Tyva, and Khakassia and interaction within the framework of agreements; Organization and holding of Open Doors Days, excursions and master classes at university departments for students of educational establishments; Development of questionnaire material (questionnaires) and questionnaire survey of freshmen in order to determine the most effective forms of career guidance, analysis of the geography of applicants residence and the correction of career guidance activities based on these data; Organization of year-round reception of visitors on questions of admission to the University, processing letters and requests from citizens and timely answers to them, consultations with applicants on the terms of admission, choosing a specialty (training direction) that is most appropriate for their abilities, inclinations and training; Implementation of the established procedure for admission to the University and control over its compliance on the basis of existing regulatory legal acts and documents of the legislation of the Russian Federation in the field of education, as well as local regulatory legal acts of the University that regulate the procedure for admission; Development of the admission rules to the Krasnoyarsk State Medical University on educational programs of higher education and submitting them for approval by the Academic Council of the University; Acceptance of documents from applicants, making decisions on admission of applicants to undergo entrance tests, and determining the conditions for participation of applicants in the competition; Submission to the USE and Admission Federal Information System (hereinafter referred to as the FIS) the information necessary for providing information on the admission of citizens to the University, as well as monitoring the reliability of information about participation in the Unified State Exam and the results of the exam by sending in the FIS the corresponding request for verification of the data provided on participation in the exam and the exam results, with data contained in FIS; Informing applicants, their parents (legal representatives) on all matters relating to the admission procedure to the University, entrance examinations conducted by the university independently, monitoring the accuracy of information in documents submitted by applicants; Exercise control over the work of subject examination commissions, review and approve cases of changes in assessments by appeal commissions; Consideration and approval of subject examination commissions reports on the results of entrance examinations; Reception and transfer to the Appeal Commission of applicants’ complaints; Conducting competitive selection of applicants for various admission conditions on the basis of entrance tests conducted by the university independently and the results of the USE in the relevant educational subjects, deciding on recommendations for admission, and preparing orders for admission; Generation of reports on acceptance of applicants; Development of regulatory documentation (plans, reports, regulations, instructions) for organizing the work of the CTAA; Organization of educational and methodical work. Development of educational materials for pre-University training (work programs, manuals, test tasks, etc.); Organization of various forms of pre-University training taking into account the educational level of applicants; Development of the material and technical base of CTAA in order to optimize and improve the efficiency of the unit.
